What is Cascade Login?
Cascade login (or "cascading login") is known as a login method that accesses multiple login accounts using one factor. A secure cascade login is similar to SSO but instead of using one's Gmail or Facebook account, the user will use authentication factor (hardware token, biometric). Login securely once and other credentials will also be accessible.
When a user logs in to a computer using their hardware token or their fingerprint, other website credentials are also available for use instead of having to type individual passwords for different login account. Cascading login coupled with continuous authentication offers a strong balance between security and ease of use for end users.
